Yes! Creating an account and posting listings is completely free. We offer optional paid "Featured Listing" packages that give your ad more visibility on the homepage.

We support all major institutions across Ghana including University of Ghana (UG), Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), University of Cape Coast (UCC), University of Mines and Technology (UMaT), and many more. You can browse by institution or region.

You can list almost anything relevant to campus life: used phones, laptops, tablets, textbooks and study materials, hostel supplies (mattresses, fans, kettles), fashion and clothing, bicycles, musical instruments, and more. You can also offer campus services like tutoring, graphic design, web development, and photography.

Absolutely! Used electronics are one of the most popular categories. Be sure to include honest details about the item's condition, include clear photos, and state whether the price is negotiable.

Yes. We have a dedicated Services category. Students and freelancers can advertise services like web development, graphic design, tutoring, laundry services, photography, and more.

You cannot list illegal items, weapons, drugs, counterfeit goods, stolen property, or anything that violates Ghanaian law. Listings that violate our terms will be removed and accounts may be suspended.

Research similar items on the platform to get a fair price. Mark your listing as "Negotiable" if you're open to offers. For used electronics, consider the age, condition, and current market value.

Use the search filters to narrow results by your institution, region, or location. The platform will also try to detect your location and show nearby listings first.

Click the "Message Seller" button on any listing page. You can also call or WhatsApp the seller if they've shared their phone number. All messages are stored in your dashboard for reference.

Campus Trade GH is a listing platform — we connect buyers and sellers but do not process payments or guarantee transactions. Always inspect items in person before paying, meet in safe public places, and never send money before receiving the item.

Yes! Click the heart icon on any listing to save it to your favourites. You can view all saved listings from your dashboard.

Log in, click "Post an Ad", fill in the details (title, description, price, condition, photos), select your institution and category, then submit. Your listing will be reviewed and published shortly.

You can upload multiple clear photos of your item. We recommend at least 2-3 photos showing different angles. Good photos significantly increase buyer interest.

Featured Listings appear prominently on the homepage in a dedicated carousel. This is a paid option that boosts your ad's visibility and helps you sell faster. You can feature a listing from your dashboard after posting.

Listings remain active until you mark them as sold or they expire. You can manage all your listings from your dashboard — edit, renew, or remove them at any time.

A Vendor account is for businesses or individuals who sell regularly on campus. Vendors get a dedicated public profile page, a verified badge, and enhanced visibility. Think of it as your own mini-store on Campus Trade GH.

Go to your dashboard and click "Become a Vendor". Fill in your business details, select your region and institution, and submit your application. Our team will review and approve it.

Yes. A Seller is any registered user who posts items for sale — typically students selling personal items. A Vendor is a verified business account for people who sell regularly, with a public storefront and enhanced credibility.

Always meet in well-lit, public places on campus (like a library entrance or student centre). Tell a friend where you're going. Inspect items carefully before paying. Never share personal financial details.

Click the "Report" button on any listing page, or use the "Report Listing" link in the footer. Our moderation team reviews all reports and takes action on policy violations.

Yes. After completing a transaction, you can leave a rating and review for the seller. This helps build trust in the community and rewards honest sellers.
